A NEW BORROW SMART INITIATIVE IS LAUNCHED AND WE NEED YOUR HELP.
October 17, 2008. We
are launching a new "Responsible Borrowing" initiative for Borrow Smart
participating stores.
Click here and read about "Borrow Smart Cautions Borrowers During
Troubling Times." This will be
released to the press in the coming days. We expect that the press
will be quite interested in this positive story about our industry.
Here is what we need from you
in connection with the program. Please
click
here and download the document and post it in your stores right
away. To download the document click on "File | Save As"
in your internet browser while the document is displayed in your
internet browser window and save it to your computer.
We suggest that you run the
page off on a color printer and place it on your front door and in other
conspicuous places around your store. If you do not have a color
printer handy, locate a copy center close by and have them
print this for you in color.
If
you plan to use the copy center option copy the downloaded file to a USB
drive and take it to the copy center. If you need help with this,

drop us an email. By the way, the size is 8 1/2 by 11
Please get these up
by Thursday, October 23rd! We expect the press will be checking on us
and it would obviously be good for them to see these posters. We know
from the Holiday
Tips initiative last year that the press will respond (as
they did here).

October 5, 2007. The new Borrow Smart
web site will be open for business real soon. One important
section of the new web site is a place where customers go to find Borrow
Smart approved lenders. In connection with this we need a list of
your stores. Please pull your information together and click on
the Enter Info link below to enter your store information.
